The Spiritual Significance of the Yatra

The 9 Devi Yakra is a sacred ritual only — it is a symbolic experience of the soul. Each day leads us toward completing different aspects of ourselves — from self-control and bravery to love and intellect.

Indian temples celebrate Navratri with splendor, music, dance, and spirituality. Devotees are typically seen to perform fasts, observe rituals, and introspect into the teachings of each incarnation.

The 9 Devi Yakra is greater than tradition very old; it is an indicator of internal fortitude within all of us — but most specifically the divine feminine. At this time of our modern day, when things force us to doubt our morals, patience, and bravery, the Navadurga teachings hold just as strong of a power today as ever.

May the nine goddesses' blessings calm your heart, protect your path, and bestow courage, wisdom, and love upon your life.

Jai Mata Di!
